Marvel has a major announcement on ABC's The View tomorrow
Tune into ABC's the View at 11am on Tuesday May 22nd for a major announcement involving Astonishing X-Men #50. Rumour has it Marvel will announce a gay wedding involving Northstar and his boyfriend Kyle. To correspond with the episode of the View, Astonishing X-Men #50 will go on sale tomorrow. Marvel has tagged it:
"Tune into ABC at 11a/10a E/C tomorrow as the hosts of ABC’s The View exclusively reveal a major Marvel announcement! This is your first chance to get a look at the moment in Astonishing X-Men #50 that will have everyone talking!
So no real shocker the rumours were true, Northstar will propose to his boyfriend Kyle in Astonishing X-Men #50. The wedding will take place in issue #51. Canadian born hero Northstar and Kyle have been dating since 2009. Marvel also hinted that all might not go according to plan for the two on the way to the alter in New York City.
Northstar's been a gay character as far back as the early nineties, maybe even earlier.
