B.P.R.D. volume 10: The Warning

Writers Mike Mignola and John Arcudi continue to push the Plague of Frogs adventure forward with this offering. This volume is so packed with details and action you really have to take your time reading it to take it all in.

We get more explanations into Liz’s visions, the Black Flame, Hyperborians destroying the future, a major city destroyed, tons of Frog action, and the list goes on. There are so many plot elements in this trade you really have to take it slow because it is a pivotal volume to the whole Plague of Frogs saga. You can’t help but think this epic drama will soon be coming to an end. This is definitely not recommended for a first time B.P.R.D. reader.

This is another strong story brought to life with the exceptional illustrations of Guy Davis. His two page monster spreads are absolutely exceptional. I can’t heap enough praise onto this creative team.
