Not invited to the gala? Let's crash it!!
Now that was an issue. I absolutely loved this part of the Hellfire gala. There are so many hilarious moments that we wouldn't get without an event like this. Seeing these specific characters in a setting where they could let their hair down showed us parts of them we don't usually get to see.
This issue mainly focuses on one particular part of the gala. It was a great way for us to see members of the team interact with other mutants from Krakoa. They may be reformed but they cannot undo some of their actions done in the past.
It was also great to see Polaris and Havok interact. They have a shaky past, and it was great to see them talk and be civil with each other. I do low key kind hope they get back together, though he is still hung up on Madelyne.
The ending of this issue also has a moment that probably is setting up the next arc. It's going to be really interesting and cause a lot of problems for Sinister.
Overall the Hellfire Gala continues to shine. This was a fantastic issue and we got to see the Hellions really let their hair down. Even though they don't always seem to like each other, it was great to see them come together and support each other.
