X-Force #20 Hellfire Gala Review
Writer: Benjamin Percy

Publisher: Marvel Comics
X-Force keeps a watchful eye on the gala.
This is our first issue where we see the story overlapping. Previously in the Hellfire Gala we saw Iron Man and Kid Omega interact. This issue we see that scene a again but expanded on a little more. This may be how each issue will connect into the main story. Also this issue as well had moments from the start of the gala then moments from later on in the night.
I really enjoyed X-Force as the security detail for the night. It worked so well and really gave us a glimpse of the entire gala. There are some moments with Beast that reinforced my dislike for that character. I even feel like he could become the true villain because his actions are so questionable and he's also very pompous.
We do get a little more action in this issue. Emma is going to need to do some damage control, and not just from Beasts questionable actions. Things are apparently going to go wrong on all fronts so this could get really interesting, and also really busy for X-Force.
Overall the Hellfire Gala continues to be a really fun and intriguing event. Emma's perfect night is turning out to be a little less than perfect, but that makes for an even more interesting story.
