Louise struggles with her new reality as Wolverine works at a plan to take down the Vampires.

I will be honest I struggled with this story arc. I even was struggling at the beginning of this issue but then everything turned around, and I found myself really enjoying this story.

I’ve never been a huge fan of the vampire stories in the x-books. This one started interesting, but it’s been so dragged out I was losing steam. Halfway through this issue we see Omega Red come in and everything changes. He has always been one of my favorite villains and seeing him on Krakoa gets me really excited. The plan he cooks up with X-Force was genius, and I hope he becomes a staple on that team. As long as he wants to be a reformed villain that is but let’s face it, Its Omega Red nothing is a guarantee with him. He could have an underlying nefarious plan just waiting for the right moment to strike.

There was an interesting development at the end of this issue that had me cheering. While I think it’s a great idea, I hope that story continues in another book. I would like to see Wolverine get back to more stories like the ones we were getting at the very start of this series. Let’s leave the vampires to Louise and Blade.

Overall Wolverine had some slower moments but by the end of the issue it improved a lot and got pretty thrilling. If you’re a fan of Omega Red I’m sure you’ll love this issue.
