Malice is loose on Krakoa.

This was an interesting issue. We got to know more about the mutant Malice and how she became who she is. I really enjoyed that part of the issue a lot. She's always been an interesting character who is always somewhat overshadowed by the mutant she is possessing. For many years she was in possession of Polaris's body. I am really excited to see how some of Malice's more famous possessions react when they see her on the island.

While I really enjoyed the deep dive into Malice's history and seeing her character somewhat evolve, this book was a slow read. It felt more of a challenge than it should, and without any solid resolutions at the end. I do wonder if this book is to set Malice up to become apart of one of the teams. I find it hard to believe they would go through giving Malice a new beginning just to have her be apart of the background.

The art in this issue is what we have come to expect from this series. Each page is fantastically drawn and laid out. The colors pop and the art really is what saves this issue.

Overall this was an interesting read but nothing outstanding. If you're a fan of this series or of the mutant Malice you'll want to check it out. Otherwise it's not a must-read at all.
