Cable’s final stand with The Avengers & is Hope destined to be The Phoenix?

By now if you haven’t got a clue as to what fate awaits Hope Summers, than you’ve been living in a cave for the past 6 months. As this prequel to AVX mini series wraps up, I’ve come to realize that it took 4 issues for Cable to take on key members of The Avengers just so Hope can have her “Phoenix” moment. This story could’ve easily been told in a single issue one-shot. Plus, you really don’t have to purchase this series to read AVX, so save your time & money and skip this issue/series altogether and enjoy AVX, you’ll thank me. This issue gets a 2 star rating and a 1 star rating for the entire run. Not even Ed McGuiness’ illustrations can save this turd. Written by Jeph Loeb. From Marvel Comics.
