Well if Tank Girl: Gold wasn't crazy enough we are now getting thrust into World War Tank Girl as the crew has reinvented time travel.
This issue we see each member of Tank Girls crew appear in World War II, and naked at that. Each member finds themselves at different locations during the war and help to bring a little bit of crazy to a big moment in history.
This issue was a blast, literally. The reactions the soldiers had when a naked girl is running towards them in the middle of a battle with the Nazi's was absolutely hilarious. Just like you would expect from a Tank Girl book, nothing in this makes sense but it's still an incredible amount of fun. There is so much blood and guts exploding everywhere and who wouldn't trust a random naked girl right?
The art in this issue is again spectacular. The vintage look and tone fits perfectly with the setting of the war. With as much blood and guts in this issue the art really made it fun and I found myself laughing more than cringing at some of the more explicit moments.
This is yet another amazing Tank Girl series that continues off of the last one. but with that being said there is still lots to enjoy here for new readers. I never thought I would enjoy a time traveling Tank Girl like I do after reading this issue, and I can't wait to see where they go after this.
