Over the past few months or so I have been reading 52, so have become a bit of a Booster Gold fan. When I was much younger I did enjoy the Flintstones, however I wasn’t reading the current Flintstones comics, although I have heard nothing but good things about it. So with this book, I wouldn’t say I was excited but I was definitely interested.

The story itself was really fun and exactly what I would expect of a Booster Gold story. Booster Gold stories to me always seem like how, the writer saying how can we cause Booster to mess up everything in the most colossal way. In this story it’s funny since as Booster tries saving the world, he is actually the one that causes its destruction.

To be honest with you the Flintstones were not really needed, as it is not really as if the characters did much in the story and it was only the caveman aspect which really had any part in the story, however they were entertaining enough characters, however did not feel like the characters I remembered, however they may be in line with the current comics, so I’m not too sure.

The Jetsons back-up was interesting, as well, even though I am not familiar with the Jetsons at all. It was basically a story about euthanasia, but done in a really cool futuristic way, which I don't want to spoil. I personally always think they should just be fun, well-written stories and both of these stories do really deliver.
