Jessica Jones #3
Writer: Brian Michael Bendis
Artist: Michael Gaydos
Colorist: Matt Hollingsworth
Publisher: Marvel Comics
Things have not been going well for Jessica. She was in jail (we have yet to find out why), Luke Cage is pissed at her and wants his daughter back (we have yet to find out why), and now Jessica has been kidnapped by the villain known as Spot.
This issue we get to see where and why Spot has taken Jessica. Theres more going on here and even while being captured Jessica the great private investigator that she is will find out.
I really enjoyed this issue a lot. Not much really happened but some things that look like are going to b one of the big driving forces of this new series. I loved seeing Jessica interact with Spot. She doesn't take crap from anyone and even being tired to a chair she still fights and even bites back.
In rue Bendis style he lets us in on a little bit this issue and even some things connect with his Civil War II event. But even with as much as he let us into on the story he asks that many and more question to keep us guessing to whats up for Jessica.
Michael Gaydos really impressed me with his pages where Jessica is dealing with Spot. It was so much fun and the excitement really came though in the panels. Some creative teams work extremely well together. Bendis and Gaydos is one of those teams that are very in sync with each other.
You should definitely go pick up this book and series. It is absolutely amazing and fun. Jessica is not your regular hero and nobody writes her like Bendis.
