Writer Mike Mignola loves to write about monsters, which is the reason he created Hellboy & the B.P.R.D. universe. This is a love letter to those famous monster movies like Dracula, The Wolfman & Frankenstein’s monster. It’s a beautiful hard cover, stand alone story and it’s a hoot. I’m a huge fan of Corben’s work, the men are often drawn stocky, the women are voluptuous & big breasted & the monsters are awkward & deformed, but in a cool way.
