I really hate these tie-ins, the events portrayed in them either happen, glimpsed or are mentioned in the main event crossover mini series. It's just more detailed in the tie-ins, you don't need to read them. It happened in Fear Itself, AVX, Age fo Ultron and now in Infinity. I'll have gaps in my run of Avengers & New Avengers, but I don't really care.
