Scarlet Spider #11
Chris Yost (Writer), Reilly Brown, and Khoi Pam (Pencils) come together to bring us Minimum Carnage Part 4 in the Scarlet Spider.
As most did, I was looking forward for this event, but so far its turned out to be… very “Minimum”.
I’m going to begin by commenting on Minimum Carnage, part one of this event, I found it to be a good read but not a great read, the Dialog was a bit poor and finished off not as pumped as I was for this event. Now as we head into part four I find myself less and less excited to pick up the next issue.
Scarlet Spider issue 11 picks up right where we last left off, right in middle of the action, a very short action scene for that matter of a fact. Venom and Scarlet Spider Find themselves split apart each facing their own problems along with the huge problem of being trapped in the microverse. The confronations between Scarlet Spider and Carnage come to be quite interesting and the chemistry between Venom and Carnage make it seem as if they’ve known each other for years, even though this is Flash’s first encounter with Venom. This issue doesn't feel like the usual monthly Scarlet Spider but none the less is what it is.
Although I am somewhat disappointed so far with this event, it’s a fun read, and of course Carnage is always the awesome character he always is.
