Scout’s Honor comes to its EPIC conclusion! Kit and the Highwaymen invade Eagle’s Nest to spread the truth about the Ranger Scouts. How does it end? In the only way it can...with an amazing fight scene and some truth. Scout’s Honor is the best book being put out by Aftershock right now. Pepose and Casalanguida deliver on this epic post apocalyptic comic.
Pepose has created a world that is just truly a fun place to be. Kit, the Ranger Scout’s, the Highwaymen and everything else just really clicks in this story. While this story is only designed to be 5 issues, I really hope Pepose returns to this world and gives us some background stories and maybe a sequel about how the world is renewed after the end of this story. I really hope we get more from Pepose in this universe.
Casalanguida did a marvelous job in helping Pepose draw out his vision for this story. The art is pretty much perfect in this world. Add in the colors by Matt Milla and it is just gorgeous. Casalanguida and Milla were able to find beauty in the post-apocalyptic world. Visually, Scout’s Honor is one of the most beautiful books on the market right now.
I’m so glad that I got on this series at the beginning. I got a promotional email about Scout’s Honor and I read the description. I was, like, okay cool. We have a new post apocalyptic book and I’m a sucker for those. I figured I would check it out. What floored me was just how absolutely freaking amazing this story is. If you haven’t read this story yet, don’t fret, the trade will drop in August. You won’t have to wait that long. Regardless, if you like post-apocalyptic storylines and gorgeous art...this book is for you.
