X-Force #8 Review

Domino and Colossus continue to bond as they investigate these unknown doppelgangers of Dominos. There seems to be a bit more at play here than the mutants realize.
This was a fun issue but I’m missing the full team. It was nice to see Domino and Colossus really bond as they have been through similar tragedies, but the gem of this book is the interaction between the entire team. That being said this issue has shown us that there is a lot more going on, and that will need the attention of the full team.
Where I think this book really shines is showing how some things can have lasting impact on a person. That sometimes you need someone to work through things with, or just have them there for support. It really humanizes this book and grounds it in reality.
Overall this was a fun issue, not the best in the series but sill a really solid one. This series has been one of the finest in the ‘Dawn of X’ line-up. With the reveal at the end of this issue, one can expect things to get a lot more intense pretty soon.
