IDW’s Disney releases over the last couple of years has been a delight for Disney comic book fans like myself. All of these comics coming out of other countries and different decades are all so interesting and fun. This My First Millions series has been a nice look into some international Disney comics within an ongoing series.

In the first two issues of My First Millions, Uncle Scrooge revealed to Donald, Huey, Dewey, and Louie how he acquired his first two million dollars. Obviously, this third issue covers how he became a “tri-millionaire.” Like the first two millions, this third million was earned through a ridiculous and humorous series of events.

This series includes characters that are always fun to read about which definitely helps. But it is also fun because Fausto Vitaliano writes these characters to be as absolutely funny as they should be. He also writes all of the secondary and extra characters to sometimes be the funniest part of the issues. I would say that the cattle farmers who make up Scrooge’s theater audience are probably the funniest characters of this entire issue.

Without fail, I am in love with this classic art style of these Disney characters that I love so much. Stefano Intini may have illustrated this series not that long ago, but his artwork makes me feel like I am reading a vintage issue of a Disney comic.

As this mini-series continues, it still manages to be as enjoyable as it was when it started. It is lighthearted fun that will be entertaining to Disney fans of all ages.
