Scarlet Spider #7

After an explosion at the Roxxon building, Kaine investigates the powerful company for some possible illegal activities, but the C.E.O. has some special security of a super powered nature.

The Pros

Kaine plays detective and requires assistance from officer Wally Layton & his partner Dr. Donald Meland and so begins a new chapter for the Scarlet Spider with new regular penciller Khoi Pham. Pham’s style is straight forward and seems to fit this series quite comfortably.

The Cons

I already miss Ryan Stegman’s illustrations.

The Outcome

Not a bad beginning for this title’s new direction. Written by Chris Yost. From Marvel Comics.
