Spider-Men #3

by lucstclair on July 14, 2012

Mysterio’s avatar creates a whole lot of havoc for our two web-heads as the Ultimates are closing in. Plus: a Parker family & friends reunion.

The Pros

A fun action romp as Mysterio does what Mysterio does best… illusions! Written by Brian Michael Bendis & illustrated by Sara Pichelli. The more I see of Pichelli’s work, the more I like it. The fight scenes are incredibly detailed (love the page with Spidey/Morales against the Hulk, a real David VS Goliath moment).

The Cons

This issue’s plot seems to be on auto pilot, but does have a satisfying ending.

The Outcome

This issue wasn’t as thrilling as #1 & #2, but still gets a decent enough rating. From Marvel Comics.

Our Score:

6/10
