LOS ANGELES, CA (June 16, 2021) – BOOM! Studios, under license by Hasbro, Inc. (NASDAQ: HAS), revealed a first look at POWER RANGERS #8 from writer Ryan Parrott (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles), artist Francesco Mortarino with ink assistance by Gilbey Ibarra, colorist Raúl Angulo with color assistance by Jose Enrique Fernández, and letterer Ed Dukeshire, in conjunction with the Mighty Morphin series. Two New Series. Two New Teams. The Era of UNLIMITED POWER continues HERE—and only Lord Drakkon, their greatest enemy, can save the Power Rangers in June 2021! 

This is it. There is nowhere left to run and no more time to prepare as the Omega Rangers must stand off against one of the Empyreal… with the fate of an entire planet at stake. And when the Omega Rangers discover the true nature of the threat to Earth, will they be able to warn their former teammates in time?

POWER RANGERS #8 features main cover art by acclaimed illustrator Matteo Scalera (Batman: White Knight Presents Harley Quinn), and variant covers by Daniele Di Nicuolo (Seven Secrets) and Goñi Montes (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers).

Currently, Power Rangers is celebrating 28 continuous years on the air, making it one of the longest-running kids’ live-action series in television history, with nearly 900 episodes aired to date. Created by Haim Saban and launched in 1993 with Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, the franchise celebrates its 28th season, with “Power Rangers Dino Fury”, currently airing Saturdays at 8 a.m. (ET/PT) on Nickelodeon and now streaming on Netflix in the U.S.
