So, back to Batman in Hong Kong.  His goal was to find out about Falcone’s history there.  He was looking for something that could put out Gotham’s fires.  Working with Jiro, Falcone’s enemy’s compound was broken into.  In typical Batman fashion, ass was kicked and info was gathered.  But not until some lady gets shanked.  Turns out she’s a Pennyworth.

The story gets deeper and deeper.  If not for this weekly release schedule there would just be no way anyone could follow.

So while Batman is out Batman-ing, Catwoman falls for a pretty nasty trap.  Seems like this is going to split the story a wee bit in the form of a flashback.  But I welcome it.  I want to see how Catwoman gave the Roman those scars.

Something odd I noticed, the scenes with Catwoman look great.  But it’s as if the art there was superior and a bit more pleasant to the art we were seeing in the rest of the issue.

This is easily one of the strongest Bat titles out there, with an amazing strong writing team.  It would be nice if the super talented art team could match too.
