Batman Eternal is shaping up to really be something special.  This large grand weekly printed book has made it very clear, the story is getting forked and everyone’s going about things differently.  And that sucks for a monthly released book, but for a weekly released book?  It works.  Damn it, it works so well!  Tip of the hat to Snyder and crew.

The Roman is back and he’s making moves against the Penguin.  Batgirl is looking to put her personal touch on Gordons frame job.  Never saw a Batgirl off the rails and so determined, very awesome stuff.  Red Robin, Harper and Cullen have just made some major and vital appearances. Red Robin feels ol Bats isn’t seeing the whole picture, RR discovers some nanomachines in the sick kids.  And they are violent!  These things smash him through a ceiling!  Before that, Ms Vale and her new high school blogger buddy jump right into the narrows and get saved before she’s able to get an exclusive with help from her friend the taser.  The old reporter giving advice to the young reporter was kinda cliche though.

Vale wants answers, the gang war is tearing Gotham up and the new commissioner shifted the police’s focus to the “masks”.  RR is probably on the verge of asking who made these nanomachines for Pyg.  ETC ETC ETC

There is a lot going on here, as you can see.  But it is a great read folks, it isn’t too late to jump on board.  It’s still too early to call this, but so far I am enjoying eternity more than any Bat book.

The art style changed a bit, you will notice that right away.  But still, it is as fantastic as it was last week.  I recommending this one guys, go snag it up.  I’m giving it 7 stars, and that’s because the fan in me is a wee bit upset.  Falcone and Gordon was completely not shown here, I felt that was a lost opportunity.
