Odinson has been on a journey of self discovery. He has still been dealing with losing Mjolnir and becoming unworthy. With the help of his trusty goat Toothgnasher he has been on a some what drunken desperate search for redemption.

This issue we see an old foe and now a trust worthy friend Beta Ray Bill offer up his hammer to the Odinson. With the vanishing of Old Old Asgard all hope of Odinson's redemption seems to have vanished with it. Finding out that there was another hammer, was a glimmer of hope, but all is not lost, but the road is not going to be easy, thats for sure.

I really loved this issue a lot. I thought the last one was really good, but this one was even better. Seeing the interaction between Beta Ray and Odinson was so touching. Thats what a true friend is like and even with Odinson being so lost without his hammer, having friends that will stand by him must mean the world to him.

There's so much that happened in this issue, and it really raised the stakes. When the main villain shows up I was thoroughly surprised. Wasn't who I was expecting at all, but wow it's a perfect choice. If anyone is going to be able to put Odinson through his paces then this villain definitely can.

By the end of this issue another shows up, and makes me wonder are these big villains just pawns in someone else's plan? There is a mysterious figure that seems to up to something, but we are going to have to wait and find out who and what they are after.

This book was so exciting and was jam packed with action, adventure, and so much intrigue. Jason Aaron has really captured my attention and has me on the edge of my seat wanting more.

Oliver Coipel's art is also incredible. Every page is just breathtaking and draws you right in. He really has a great understanding of how to lay out panels in a very dynamic way. His level of detail and design for the characters is also amazing.

If you know anything about Thor or not you should definitely pick up this series. It is an all around exciting read that shouldn't be missed.
