It’s the Moon Knight Movie! Well at least in the comics, there’s a movie.

This series has been one crazy ride and I really mean crazy! Moon Knight has always had elements of mental illness and Jeff Lemire is really bringing that to the forefront. I have never read such a convoluted story like this before that still has me totally engaged and wanting to know what exactly is going on. This issue especially throws curve ball after curve ball at you making you wonder your own sanity.

Usually six issues into a series you should have an idea about what’s going on but I am honestly clueless other than the fact that I know Marc Spectre is insane. Is this all just happening in his head, and we are jumping from personality to personality? Or is Khonshu just continuing to toy with him again? There are so many questions and this series continues to just ask more and more.

The thing I really loved about this issue is all the artists that have contributed, so when we get tossed around not sure what’s happening having new art adds to that disorientation. This book is visually stunning, and it continues to shift in style and tone on the drop of a dime.

If you haven’t picked this series up I highly recommend you go grab all the back issues and get caught up. This is one of the most interesting and well written stories I have read in a long time. Such a new and refreshing take on a superhero book it is definitely a must read.
