It's time for the tournament, or is it?
Arghhhh! I was so pumped for the tournament to start, but it is still not time yet. First they will feast.
I was a little frustrated with this chapter. For several chapters now we have had so much exposition that the story is starting to drag. This chapter was no different. While it was still an interesting read, I wanted more. I loved seeing Storm and Death interact. They have a very unique chemistry and that was one of the major highlights to the chapter.
That being said what saved this chapter from being a dud was the cliffhanger ending. That will have serious ramifications going forward. I honestly was surprised and shocked, though I really shouldn't have been.
The art for this chapter was bright colorful and had a lot of humour to it. That helped to boost the chapter somewhat as well.
Overall I enjoyed the feast. What disappoints me is how long we are waiting for the tournament to begin. It's almost too much exposition and filler, and not enough action. With ten battles coming and only nine chapters left, I wonder how rushed the battles will end up being?
