Marauders #12 Review

We wasted a full issue for this!??
So I'm all for Kate Pryde being back. She was the leader and an important part. But this issue really felt unnecessary. All of this could have been condensed down and to a few pages. We knew that Kate would want revenge for what Shaw did to her, but an entire issue of just her getting ready to go after him is a waste of our time and money.
I will say that I am really enjoying Kate and Emma's relationship. They are really building a strong friendship. I'm glad that after all these years they can actually build a friendship after what they've been through.
Also not to spoil anything but Kate kisses a girl!?? Are we going to have her come out now? There was no context to the kiss so it really has me curious. Was it just to shock the readers or was it a nod to a story plot that will be explored later? We will have to wait a see.
Overall this is a pretty disappointing issue in a series that has been so good. It screams filler issue that drags the story out for no reason.
