The X-Men race through space with the king egg, with a swarm of Brood chasing them.

So we learned a bit but this was mainly a filler issue. It was a pretty quick flash in the pan read. There really isn’t a lot to say. Was it bad? No, not in the least it was a pretty fun read, but there wasn’t a lot of substance here. All this issue really did was deliver a new status quo for the Brood. I feel the next issue will have a lot more story and this one was just to setup the next part. We did get some history about the king egg which was nice. Also it was nice to be able to dive into more about the Brood than just seeing them invade and swarm worlds.

Overall this is an issue you won’t want to miss. Not a lot is given, but there are some important story moments that will definitely lead into future issues. It’s a quick read, but still an enjoyable one.
