Avengers Vs X-Men #4 (of 12)

As the Phoenix Force approaches earth like a bat out of hell, both the Avengers & the X-Men regroup and catch up with Hope on the moon.

Thus ends the first act of AVX and so far it’s a very standard romp. Round 1 started with a bang, but then slowly started to descend into mediocrity & banality with every passing issue. I’m confident that things will eventually start to kick in with the next chapter. I did like Wolverine’s idea of a fur coat. Written by Aaron, Bendis, Brubaker, Fraction & Hickman.
