Incredible Hulk #6

Desperate times call for desperate measure as The Mad Squad (such a dopey name) are forced to consider using a gamma bomb to stop Banner & his “Bannermen” monsters. But will it come at The Hulk’s price? Plus : the origin of Amanda Von Doom!

Banner & The Hulk taking turns smashing each other gets a little stale, but it’s a lot of fun watching Banner use his own modified Hulk-weapons that would make The Punisher jealous. The Bannermen are ridiculous to say the least. All in all, a mediocre issue, but at least it has an explosive ending. Written by Jason Aaron (Avengers VS X-Men) & illustrated by Whilce Portacio (Uncanny X-Men). From Marvel Comics.
