Green Lantern : Emerald Dawn (TPB)

Unless you’ve been living under a rock this past year, than you should know about Hal Jordan and the Green Lantern origin. If you have no idea what I’m talking about please keep reading… Hal Jordan is a washed up fighter pilot who’s hit rock bottom in his life. He is summoned to a crashed space craft where a dying alien bestows upon him a glowing green ring. Jordan than becomes one of many Green Lanterns, policing the universe, protecting sector Earth from all forms of evil. Unbeknown to Jordan he wields the galaxy’s most powerful weapon. Can Jordan accept the responsibilities before an alien force threatens to destroy the Earth and everything in it’s path?

If you’re new to this character then this is a great way to kick start your collection with the origin of Green Lantern. Written by Jim Owsley and illustrated by M.D Bright. Good stuff.
