Daredevil #15

Somewhere in the tyrannical country of Latvaria and after being starved, beaten & surgically altered, Daredevil’s senses are rapidly failing and for the first time in his life… he’s totally blind!

The Pros

What a great comic to an even greater story arc, as DD is pushed to his limits and lies helplessly in a Latvarian dungeon fighting for his life. Writer Mark Waid continues his amazing run on an iconic Marvel super hero with this incredibly captivating storyline. With my last issue’s review of DD, I might have been a little hard on penciller Chris Samnee. I have to admit his style is starting to grow on me, as it reminds me of the early David Mazzucchelli & Klaus Janson Daredevil years.

The Cons

My only complaint is I have to wait 30 days for the next issue.

The Outcome

If you’re not reading this comic or this series, than where the hell have you been? It’s only Marvel’s best series. Pick up Daredevil by Mark Waid in HC Vol. 1 & 2 on sale wherever comics are sold.
