Avengers Vs X-Men #8

With rage & hate in his heart, the Phoenix possessed Namor, with the help of his fellow Atlanteans, declares total war on Wakanda and god help anyone who gets in his way!

The Pros

Plenty of hard action done the Marvel way as Namor takes a brutal pounding by the Avengers, but returns it with ease (just ask the Red Hulk, ouch!). New to this series are the incredible illustrations of Adam Kubert (Astonishing Spider-Man & Wolverine).

The Cons

This series is back to its old tricks again, with a chapter high on thrills, but low on plot and I’m a little disappointed to see Olivier Coipel leave. The man can draw.

The Outcome

Just when the series was picking up, it pulls this s**t. Now watching Namor destroy a country is thrilling, but truth be told, I’m getting a little tired of this series. Written by Jason Aaron, Brian Michael Bendis, Ed Brubaker, Matt Fraction & Jonathan Hickman. From Marvel Comics.
