X-O Manowar #3

With the assistance of his slave brothers, Aric, donned in the X-O armour leads a savage revolt against their alien captors.

The Pros

Another fine action packed issue from writer Robert Venditti & penciller Cary Nord. Some major plot changes that will probably affect the Valiant universe and the other titles. There’s nothing a sci-fi fan loves more than a war between humans & aliens, especially when one of the humans has a nearly indestructible suit of armour. Tony Stark would love to get his greedy little hands on this type of equipment.

The Cons

My only minor complaint is that having read the original X-O years ago, I kind of knew where this issue’s story was going. But that doesn’t mean I didn’t like it.

The Outcome

With issue #1, #2 &  now #3, the story revolves around Aric & the Visigoths alien abduction and the discovery of the armour of Shanhara. So it’ll be interesting to see where the story will go from here. Great stuff. From Valiant Comics.
