This issue ends the Fall of the Gods arc, and it felt kind of underwhelming. Looking back at the entire arc, despite my liking it, I think it would have fared better as a two or three parter instead of dragging it out to four issues. I think it has something to do with the artist Rafa Sandoval not being able to draw more issues, but that's just me theory.

Even though I felt underwhelmed, I still enjoyed the issue. It's a perfect testament to why the Green Lantern Corps works so well as a team, and why John Stewart is the perfect leader. He gets a moment near the end of the issue that definitely shines as his best moments in the entire series so far. It's easy to forget, but he's a military man after all and Robert Venditti portrays him as just that.

Sandoval's art is simply stellar. This might be the most bombastic issue in terms of action that he's ever done. The level of detail and the colouring by Tomeu Morey makes the blacks and especially the greens and purples pop.

Despite my enjoyment of the issue, there simply isn't much to say. The Corps fight the giant mechs and it ends. I appreciate the ending and I wouldn't mind seeing Orion in this book a bit more. Sandoval's art was just incredible and I can't wait to read his next arc.
