The Amazing Spider-Man #8
Teaming up Spider-Man and Ms. Marvel probably should have been her first team-up over her and Wolverine (even though that was awesome). The reason Ms. Marvel has resonated with me so well is that she is modern day Peter Parker. Even though her background is vastly different, her struggles of maintaining her new superhero identity match up pretty well with Peter's own struggles when he first started.
So a team-up with Ms. Marvel works perfectly here. They keep the team-up low-scale enough that it matches Kamala's still budding understanding of her powers, but has enough at stake that I still worry.
Slott and Gage spin a fun take that is bolstered by Camuncoli's beautiful and energetic artwork. I've always enjoyed his Spider-Man art starting from when he joined on Superior. I'm hoping he'll get a full time gig drawing Spider-Man soon.
Overall, it's a fun issue, and the back-up helps to establish more feuding between the Spiders and the rest of Morlun's family.
