It is such a great feeling when a story starts to move toward its conclusion, and the pieces start to come together and they make sense. The explanations that the reader has been trying to figure out since the beginning are true and honest to the story, and they aren’t just some off-the-wall, harebrained explanation that’s insulting to the readers and unfaithful to the rest of the story.

I am pleased that so far, Abbott continues to be in the former. There is only one issue left, and as it sits, everything is falling together perfectly.
With the latest bombshell at the end of the last issue, Elena Abbott has a renewed vigor and fight to break open this story and reveal what is behind these attacks.  While some question her on why she is continuing to pursue this story even though she is no longer a reporter, it might be the fact that she is no longer a reporter that lets her put the final pieces together.

There isn’t a lot more to say about this issue that I haven’t said in previous reviews, and I will save final analysis of overarching themes and the like for next month when we get the final issue, but I can say this—

The artwork has remained consistent and topnotch through the run up to this point, and the writing and story keeps getting better, more engaging, more exciting, and more enthralling. If you want to know what a perfect supernatural thriller looks like, well, this might be the closest I’ve seen.
