Abra Kadabra
Hello, guys and girls, I bring you review for the eighteenth episode just in time for today's premier of the nineteenth episode of The Flash. This will be just a short reminder of what that episode was and as usually without spoilers to preserve this masterpiece of a review (Ha!) for some lost soul who hasn't seen that episode yet.

One month ago we got another glimpse into the future with this episode's villain who calls himself Abra Kadabra. This magician that uses highly advanced technology to perform his tricks has his agenda that as usually Flash tries to disrupt. Did Abra Kadabra perform as we would expect from someone who comes from 7th millennium? If you have read my reviews for this season you know that I had issues with a lot of those one episode villains this season and even though Abra Kadabra wasn't bad he also wasn't very good. His only good moment is towards the end when he turns his situation on Barry and mocks him, but otherwise, I was underwhelmed.

I have complained about this in the past and I will now because writers haven't learned anything. Cisco isn't a playboy, him trying to be confident while interacting with Gypsy only comes out as douchy and cringy so please, stop with that. Besides this, interactions between the rest of the Team Flash were on point. Cisco and Caitlin were particularly pleasant to watch this episode and so was Julian with her.

There was some good acting this episode, the actor who portrayed Abra Kadabra (David Dastmalchian) was pretty good, Danielle Panabaker and Tom Felton were great together but the show was stolen by Jesse L. Martin (Joe West) who time and time again proves that he is one of the greatest actors on this show.

Overall this was a good episode, but there is still a lot to work on. However, I have high hopes for the last five episodes in this season seeing how much happened this episode and we basically ended with two cliffhangers. So fingers crossed that Flash will pick up some speed in the end and won't froze (puns are fully intended).
