THIEF OF THIEVES MAKES OFF WITH MORE PRINTINGS
Debut issue will get 5th printing, #5 will get second
Berkeley, CA - June 13, 2012 — Robert Kirkman's comic book THIEF OF THIEVES continues to capture readers with its sharp, cinematic take on the crime genre. Today, Image Comics and SKYBOUND are pleased to announce that issue one of the ongoing series has sold out of its fourth printing and will get another and THIEF OF THIEVES #5 has sold out and a second printing has been scheduled.
THIEF OF THIEVES, written by Nick Spencer and drawn by Shawn Martinbrough follows master thief Redmond's attempt to reclaim his life as Conrad Paulson. But he finds that crime, criminals and his past have a way of following him wherever he goes.
THIEF OF THIEVES #5's second printing is available to order now (APR128374) and will be in stores on July 4. The fifth printing of THIEF OF THIEVES #1 (MAY128003) will be in stores on July 11.
With this printing, THIEF OF THIEVES joins FATALE by Ed Brubaker and Sean Phillips and SAGA by Brian K. Vaughan and Fiona Staples as the triumvirate of new 2012 Image Comics series with five printings of their first issues. The Kirkman-created series has recently been optioned by AMC to become an original television drama.
