Discover the Secrets Hidden Across a World Full of Magic and Monsters in December 2019

LOS ANGELES, CA (November 21, 2019) – BOOM! Studios is proud to reveal a first look at FOLKLORDS #2, the latest issue of an all-new original five-issue series from Eisner Award-nominated writer Matt Kindt (Grass Kings, Black Badge) and acclaimed artist Matt Smith (Hellboy & the BPRD: Long Night at Goloski, Lake of Fire) about a young man whose forbidden quest reveals the shocking truth about his world and turns everything he ever knew upside down, available in December 2019.

Against the orders of his village, Ansel strikes out to find the Folklords, the only beings that can explain his visions of another world. But the forest is even more dark and terrible than he was told, and Ansel meets two very different women who will change his life—one way or another—forever.

FOLKLORDS #2 features main cover art by Matt Smith and variant cover art by Michael Avon Oeming (Powers).
