Yet another weekend has come and gone way too quickly. Once again it’s the dreaded Monday but have no fear here are my Weekly Spinner Picks to bring joy to your day!

Superior Spider-Man #18: I have a weird relationship with this title. I’ve had it put on and off my pull list several times now but I just can’t seem to fully commit to it or drop it completely. I’ve always collected ASM and have always cheered on Spidey so the whole concept of not rooting for him has thrown me off. Even when I do cut Superior from my list, I always end up buying the issues I missed off the rack. Like I said I can’t let go! This issue features Superior Spider-Man vs. Spider-Man 2099, who happens to be one of my personal favorite 90s characters, so guess what....this title is back on my sub! The issue is as always written by Dan Slott and features the wonderful pencils of on and off again artist Ryan Stegman.

100 Bullets Brother Lono #4: Wouldn’t my weekly picks feel incomplete without a Vertigo title amongst the list? Yes of course it would! I hesitated starting this miniseries by the original creative team of 100 Bullets, Brian Azzarello and Eduardo Risso, because I honestly don’t remember a lot of details from that series. Thankfully I gave it a chance because it’s been great so far. I’m sure there are minor plot points and beats that would stand out if I were more familiar with the original series but they are definitely not needed to enjoy the title. This series can be quite violent and at times I get an uncomfortable feeling while reading it but I can’t put it down. I have to see what happens. This issue looks to be no different as duelling drug lords bring their turf battle to the front steps of Lono’s monastery.

Daredevil #31: I’m always giddy when this title comes out. This is my favorite Marvel series by far. Last issue, writer Mark Waid, closed the issue on Matt’s surprised reaction to his new law partner. This issue we get the big reveal. I can’t wait! I’m also always excited for Chris Samnee’s amazing artwork.

Oh boy looks like a good week ahead. Let us know if you agree or disagree with my picks and make sure you tell us what you are looking forward to.

It's a real Marvel week this week.  Thor, powers, daredevil are all on my pull list.. Batman too I guess, but I haven't even touched the last riddler issue.

Off the rack will be infinity 3, because I have to.. it's going to change everything!  I gotta be around when it happens.  X-men legacy will probably hook me with one of those covers again.. and superior spiderman.. even though I hate to do it.. I think I'll buy anything with silver surfer or spiderman 2099 on the cover.

Superior Spider-Man's always been consistent for me, it's nice to see Spidey from the point of view of a villain, but I'm starting to miss the old Peter Parker. DD's always great with surprises on every story arc. As for Brother Lono, i'll probably end up getting the trade. Looking forward to the new Thor story arc, which concentrates on the 9 Realms.
